A Morning on Stringers Ridge

Trust for Public Land and the Tennessee River Gorge Trust will host a day of family-friendly activities to celebrate the preservation of 92 acres on Stringers Ridge.

Do a self-guided hike or join a guided hike at 10:30 or 11:30 a.m. Learn about

Stringer’s role in the Civil War from National Park Service historian Jim Ogden. Bring the kids for a game of nature bingo.

The Stringers Ridge trails are not suitable for strollers, so parents should plan on carrying small children.
